Yarrow is also known as millefolium or achillea (Achillea millefolium). The botanical name derives from the hero of Greek mythology, Achilles, who cured his wounds with this plant.

The yarrow oil (Achillea Millefolium) is highly regenerative, one of the best healing oils and ideal together with marigold, St. John's Wort and wild rose for regeneration of skin tissue. Smoothes scars and helps prevent stretch marks during pregnancy and up to six months after giving birth so it is often recommended to pregnant women.
