Apricot oil

Latin name: Prunus Armeniaca Seed Oil

Apricot oil is extracted from the apricot kernel. It is easily absorbed into the skin and leaves no traces or oily sensation. It has a lipid content similar to that of the epidermis. When the lipid content of the epidermis becomes too low, the skin becomes dry and irritated. The local application of apricot oil helps soothe and heal this rough, damaged skin. Its fine texture allows faster penetration of the skin, which provides faster healing and nutrition without leaving any residue.

Rich in poly-unsaturated fatty acids it works wonders in nourishing and moisturising the skin. Especially effective for sensitive skin and dry skin. Has a high oleic and linoleic acid content.

Rich in vitamins E, A and C, which make it extremely beneficial for the treatment of dry, mature and sensitive skin. It heals wounds, sunburn, psoriasis, eczema, has antibacterial properties and helps fight fine lines, wrinkles and other symptoms of aging (antioxidant and anti-aging properties).

Due to its high content of vitamin E and other fatty acids, apricot oil helps treat all types of hair and scalp problems. Prevents hair loss and dandruff.

Gently massage your abdomen with 6 drops of apricot oil and 2 drops of peppermint oil to stimulate the gut and improve the secretion of bile and other digestive enzymes.

Has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that help relieve pain and inflammation, especially in the joints, when gently massaged onto the respective areas.
